  • BMW provided a full four-year Evans Scholarship in the name of the first player to record a hole-in-one during the tournament;
  • BMW hosted a racing event for TOUR players at the Autobahn Country Club Racetrack outside Chicago to raise money for the Evans Scholars Foundation;
  • A partner of the United States Olympic Committee, BMW hosted table tennis phenom and USA Table Tennis National Men’s Team member Grant Li to demonstrate his skills and play a few friendly games with TOUR players;
  • The BMW Experience was a special pavilion offering all fans the opportunity to test their putting skills and check out the line of BMW automobiles on display;

"On behalf of our partner, BMW, and the Western Golf Association, the BMW Championship is honored to be recognized for our efforts in working with BMW to enhance the tournament experience for everyone involved – the players, spectators, volunteers and our sole charitable beneficiary, the Evans Scholars Foundation," said Vince Pellegrino, WGA Vice President, Tournaments. "BMW is committed to making our championship a world-class event at every level, and each year we find new ways to extend and build on that commitment. Winning this award affirms that BMW and our WGA tournament team are in the forefront of working together to offer a premier championship atmosphere for all."
